Itinerary

Day 1, Wed., Apr. 29: Arrive at Cairo International Airport. With your Meet & Greet service, you will
be personally met and assisted through Immigration & Customs, transported to the deluxe 5-star
Steigenberger Pyramids Hotel in the energy field of the Great Pyramid, and assisted with check-in.
An early evening orientation and meeting with Kawika*, followed by a group welcome dinner.
(Please plan to arrive in Egypt no later than 12 noon, allowing adequate time to go through
Immigration, Customs, drive through Cairo traffic, and check into your hotel. (If you wish to
arrive a day early, please inquire for details for hotel and arrival assistance.) (D)

Day 2, Thu., Apr. 30: Experience the mysterious Sphinx during your specially arranged
sunrise private visit with special government permission.
Return to your hotel for a leisurely breakfast.
Visit Saqqara, the site of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered by many to be the first pyramid.
This pyramid and the massive structure around it, designed by the architect/physician Imhotep
(circa 2700 B.C.), were not only the first large stone structures in the world, but today they still
constitute the largest stone temple complex on earth. You gain entrance into the mysterious
Serapeum, tombs to the sacred bulls, a rarely visited site here. (B/L)

Day 3, Fri., May 1: This morning experience the Great Pyramid, the greatest site of transformation
on the planet! With special government permission, explore the Great Pyramid during private
time, only your group.
Return to your hotel for a leisurely breakfast.
After breakfast, enjoy an extensive tour of the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, home to the
largest, most complex collection of ancient treasures and artifacts in the world.
Among the historical treasures housed in the GEM are Tutankhamen’s sarcophagus along with all
of the 5,000 artifacts that were found in his tomb when it was uncovered in 1922, and a 30-foot-tall,
3,200-year-old statue of Ramses the Great. (B)

Day 4, Sat., May 2: After breakfast, check out of your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your flight to
Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to board your privately chartered luxury 5-star yacht sailing boat, your
“home” for the next 8 nights. Welcome aboard and be prepared to be waited on hand and foot!
(B/L/D are served daily while you are on the boat.) Enjoy dinner after boarding. (B/D)

Day 5, Sun., May 3: Enjoy a special experience at Dendera, a wondrous site where you will visit
the temple of Hathor and experience its special energy. Hathor is the goddess of love and joy,
music, and dance. One of the most well-preserved temples in all of Egypt, Dendera is a marvel to
explore, with ceilings and rooms intricately carved. The restored ceilings with their gorgeous
colored hieroglyphs are stunning. Also here is the famous Zodiac ceiling, a circular, sandstone bas-
relief planisphere depicting a combination star map and astrological chart. Be immersed in the
potent healing energies in the small temple to Nut, the sky goddess.
Tonight, experience the “Living Temple of Man,” Luxor Temple. The temple's design is symbolic of
the living human body, reflecting the fact that the body is in turn a temple of the spirit. (B/L/D)

Day 6, Mon., May 4: Visit the exquisite Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh of
Egypt.
Also, see the Valley of the Kings, the location of the eternal resting places of the Pharaohs. Here is
where King Tut's tomb and many more were discovered.

Day 7, Tue., May 5: Experience the incredible temples complex of Karnak. Tour these magnificent
ruins, the largest ancient temple complex in the world. No one sees these temples without a sense
of awe and wonder at their grandeur. Sail up the Nile, enjoying the lush landscape that has not
changed much in millennium. Overnight at a small island on the Nile. (B/L/D)

Day 8, Wed., May 6: Disembark for the over 2500-year-old magnificent Temple at Edfu, the best
preserved of all ancient Egyptian temples and dedicated to the god Horus. Continue sailing. (B/L/D)

Day 9, Thu. May 7: Today, experience the small but important site of Kom Ombo, a famous healing
temple in ancient days. The temple is unique because it is in fact a double temple dedicated to two
gods: Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus, The Elder. (B/L/D)

Day 10, Fri., May 8: Continue sailing and arrive in Aswan, southern Egypt’s strategic and
commercial gateway since antiquity.
Experience the special energies at the temple of the goddess Isis, as we visit the island of Philae
on our privately chartered water taxi. Isis is regarded as the goddess of medicine and healing, and
great magic. Philae Temple is considered by many to be the most beautiful temple of Egypt. (B/L/D)
Visit to the Aswan bazaar and spice market, a unique shopping experience filled with a dazzling
array of colorful and aromatic spices, herbs, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts. Experience a
fabulous felucca ride, a traditional open-decked wooden sailing boat. (B/L/D)

Day 11, Sat., May 9: After breakfast, we travel by bus to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Abu
Simbel. Abu Simbel was dedicated to the sun god, as well as to the deified Ramesses himself. It is
considered the grandest and most beautiful of the temples commissioned during the reign of
Ramesses II, and one of the most beautiful in Egypt. (B/L/D)

Day 12, Sun., May 10: Fly to Cairo and board your bus to drive to Alexandria. Check into your 5-
star oceanfront hotel for the next two nights. (B)

Day 13, Mon., May 11: Visit the Library of Alexandria, once the largest library in the ancient world.
See the Catacombs of Kom Ash Shuqqafa which make up the largest-known Roman burial site in
Egypt and one of the last major works of construction dedicated to the religion of ancient Egypt.
Visit the Royal Jewelry Museum, which offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the
opulent history of royalty and dignitaries through a dazzling array of exquisite gems and royal
jewelry.
Enjoy the Mediterranean Sea environment. Swim and relax.
A Farewell Celebration and Dinner this evening. (B/D)

Day 14, Tue., May 12: After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to your 5-star hotel near
Cairo airport. (B)

Day 15, Wed. May 13: Breakfast, check out. Individuals depart according to their itinerary. The
