A Luxury Trip to Egypt
April 25 - May 8, 2025
Itinerary
Day 1, Fri., Apr. 25: Arrive in Cairo and check into your 5-star luxury hotel, the world-renowned Mena House Hotel, located right next to the Great Pyramid. Experience the energy field of the Great Pyramid during your entire stay!
The Mena House was initially a hunting lodge, built in 1869 for the Egyptian Khedive Isma'il Pasha. It is very famous, hosting notables such as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (of “Sherlock Holmes”), Winston Churchill, President Richard Nixon, Charlton Heston, Frank Sinatra, David Lean, and Charlie Chaplin amongst others. Enjoy the acres of beautiful gardens and walking paths. Luxuriate with indulgent bedding including down/feather pillows, marble bathrooms and private balconies with fantastic views of the pool, gardens, or the Pyramids. A welcome & orientation gathering, followed by a fabulous welcome dinner feast!*
(Note: Upon arrival in Cairo, meet & greet assistance including visa on arrival, with a transfer to your hotel and check-in assistance is available. Please inquire for details and price.)
Day 2, Sat., Apr. 26: Experience the mysterious Sphinx during your specially arranged sunrise private visit with special government permission.
Explore Saqqara, the site of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, considered by many to be the first pyramid. This pyramid and the massive structure around it, designed by the architect/physician Imhotep (circa 2700 B.C.), were not only the first large stone structures in the world, but today they still constitute the largest stone temple complex on earth.
Day 3, Sun., Apr 27: Enjoy an extensive tour of the Great Egyptian Museum. The largest archaeological museum in the world, it houses artifacts of ancient Egypt, including the complete Tutankhamun collection. Many pieces are displayed for the first time. (If the GEM is not open by your tour dates, visit the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities.)
After lunch, transfer to the airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, transfer to board your privately chartered luxury 5-star yacht sailing boat, your “home” for the next 9 nights. Welcome aboard and be prepared to be waited on hand and foot! A delicious Welcome dinner awaits. (B/L/D included while you are on board.)
Day 4, Mon., Apr 28: Experience the special energies at the temple of the goddess Isis, as we visit the island of Philae on our privately chartered water taxi. Isis is regarded as the goddess of medicine and healing and great magic. Philae Temple is considered by many to be the most beautiful temple of Egypt.
We have special government permission to be at the Temple of Isis before sunrise, when it is closed to the public. Enjoy the entire temple and island for just your group for 2 hours.
*Note: Gatherings with Rev. Kawika will take place on this journey. Exact times will be announced on site.
Then, enjoy a walking tour throughout the ancient bazaar with exotic wonderful shopping opportunities and a fabulous felucca ride at sunset.
Day 5: Tues., Apr 29: After breakfast, we travel by bus to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Abu Simbel. Abu Simbel was dedicated to the sun god, as well as to the deified Ramesses himself. It is considered the grandest and most beautiful of the temples commissioned during the reign of Ramesses II, and one of the most beautiful in Egypt.
Drive back to Aswan. Board your yacht and begin sailing! (B/L/D)
Day 6: Wed., Apr 30: Experience the small but important site of Kom Ombo, a famous healing temple in ancient days. The temple is unique because it is in fact a double temple dedicated to two gods: Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god.
The layout combines two temples in one with each side having its own gateways and chapels. This ancient Egyptian place of worship features a unique engraving that is thought to be among the first representations of medical and surgical instruments. Overnight at an island. (B/L/D)
Day 7, Thurs., May 1: Today, experience the over 2500-year-old magnificent Temple at Edfu, the best preserved of all ancient Egyptian temples and dedicated to the god Horus. Overnight on a small island. (B/L/D)
Day 8, Sat., May 2: This evening, visit the “Living Temple of Man,” Luxor Temple. The temple's design is symbolic of the living human body, reflecting the fact that the body is in turn a temple of the spirit. (B/L/D)
Day 9, Sun., May 3: Today visit the Valley of the Kings, the location of the eternal resting places of the Pharaohs. Here is where King Tut's tomb and many more were discovered. Also, see the exquisite Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharaoh of Egypt. (B/L/D)
Day 10, Mon., May 4: Experience the incredible temples complex of Karnak. Tour these magnificent ruins, the largest ancient temple complex in the world. No one sees these temples without a sense of awe and wonder at their grandeur. (B/L/D)
Day 11, Tues., May 5: Enjoy a special experience at Dendera, a wondrous site where you will visit the temple of Hathor and experience its special energy. Hathor is the goddess of love and joy, music, and dance. One of the most well-preserved temples in all of Egypt, Dendera is a marvel to explore, with ceilings and rooms intricately carved. The restored ceilings with their gorgeous colored hieroglyphs are stunning. Also here is the famous Zodiac ceiling, a circular, sandstone bas-relief planisphere depicting a combination star map and astrological chart. Be immersed in the potent healing energies in the small temple to Nut, the sky goddess. (B/L/D)
Day 12, Wed., May 6: After breakfast, check out and fly to Cairo. Check into the MENA HOUSE. Explore Old Cairo, including the church with the crypt where Mary & Joseph stayed, and the synagogue built on the spot where it is believed Moses was found.
Day 13, Thurs., May 7: Experience the Great Pyramid, the greatest site of transformation on the planet! With special government permission, explore the Great Pyramid during private time, only your group inside.
Then enjoy a farewell dinner and party. (B/D)
Day 14, Fri., May 8: Breakfast, check out. Depart Egypt with wonderful lifetime memories. (B)
